Express your journey and identity in your very own Rainbow Pilgrims portrait and tell your story.
Help us map out the ‘hidden history’ of LGBTQI migrants of all faiths and none in Britain and create a legacy for future generations. Let’s celebrate diversity!
Express yourself – PhotoShoot
When? SATURDAY 29 July & 12 AUGUST , individual 1hr time slots
Where? Outside (weather permitting), Central London/Soho
Who? LGBTQI, born or grew up outside Britain (even if a long time ago and settled here…); especially welcoming refugees/asylum seekers, ethnic and other minorities, and/or from the Roma, Gypsy, Traveller (GRT) community; all faiths and none.
What? Theme: ‘Rites and Passages’. Bring a personal or ritual object, and/or choose a location that is meaningful for your LGBTQI journey. You may bring a friend(s) or partner to be with you in the picture (please talk to us first).

Share your story Bring a story to share.
All photo-shoot participants are invited to record their audio (or video) oral history for our LGBTQI migrants archive (separate appointment may be necessary).
– Anonymous participation possible.
– You will get a free digital copy of at least 2 of the best shots.
– We may be able to help LGBTQI refugees/asylum seekers with evidence (please enquire with us for details first).
– We can reimburse reasonable travel expenses.
